A genie lamp was discovered by a woman who was strolling along the seashore.
She lifted the lamp, gave it a rub, and sure enough, a genie materialized.
Startled, the woman quickly regained consciousness and inquired about having three wishes.
“No,” the genie retorted. I am only able to grant you one request because of inflation, ongoing downsizing, and intense international competition. What then are your intentions?
The woman acted without hesitation.
“Peace in the Middle East,” she wished as she pulled out a map. Do you notice this map? I want the hostilities between these nations to end.
After glancing at the map, the genie said, “My goodness, ma’am! These people have been struggling for thousands of years! Though not very good, I am good! It is not feasible to do this. Make one more wish.
Following some contemplation, the woman remarked, “You know, I’ve never found the right man—someone who’s considerate and humorous, who enjoys cooking and helping around the house, who’s good in bed and gets along with my family, who doesn’t watch sports all the time, and who’s faithful. A good wife is what I want.
With a heavy sigh, the genie shook his head and continued, “Please allow me to view that card once more.
