In Miami, a rich man entered a bar.
He saw an elderly woman sitting in a corner as soon as he walked in.
He approached the desk, took out his cash, and yelled,
“Bartender! With the exception of that woman over there, I’m purchasing drinks for everyone in this pub!
After collecting the money, the bartender started giving away free drinks to everyone in the establishment—with the exception of the elderly woman.
The wife just glanced up at the man and yelled, “Thank you!” without getting irritated.
The rich guy was furious about this.
So he pulled out his wallet once more and yelled,
Waiter! With the exception of that African who sits in the corner over there, I’m purchasing bottles of wine and extra food for everyone in this pub this time!
After taking the man’s money, the bartender started giving away free wine and food to everyone in the establishment, with the exception of the elderly woman.
The elderly woman merely grinned at the man and murmured, “Thank you!” once the waiter had done bringing the food and beverages.
That infuriated him.
So he asked the bartender, leaning over the counter,
What’s the matter with that woman? Instead of being upset, she just sits there, grins at me, and says, “Thank you.” I have purchased food and beverages for everyone in this pub but her. Is she crazy?
“No, she is not mad,” the bartender responded with a smile to the rich man. This restaurant is owned by her.
