The stunning admission made by singer Garth Brooks stunned a lot of fans of country music. Bud Light and the artist worked together on the artist’s most recent effort. The musician decided to serve the beer at his restaurant in Nashville.

The singer gave an explanation for his choice, saying that his bar would serve “every brand of beer” and be a place where people could come together and feel welcome. He even went so far as to call beer drinkers who don’t drink Bud Light “a**holes.”

The artist has now drawn outrage from the public for making this statement. Michelle, a follower of the musician since the 1990s, finds his most recent remarks offensive. “Welcome to the boycott,” was how she ended her message.

Outraged, other fans vowed to stop supporting his music and bar. A user wrote, “I have a full garbage can.I threw away everything that bore Garth Brooks’ name.

Brooks made an effort to defend his actions by saying that he wanted to support and respected diversity. “I adore diversity. Everyone is welcome because they are all included, he remarked.

This year’s dispute surrounding Bud Light started in April. The beer firm mailed Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender influencer, a few cans. The influencer then recorded videos where she dressed herself as Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s and discussed the beers and how people might win money through the company’s sweepstakes.

The beer company’s partnership infuriated some, and they thought it was unfortunate that they gave a trans influencer a platform. Country music star Travis Tritt threatened to withdraw from his tour because Anheuser-Busch, the company that owns Budweiser, chose to deliver some booze to a trans influencer.

The argument over Bud Light is still hot months later. What are your opinions about the circumstance and Garth Brook’s decision? Please let us know in the comments.
