A family in Oklahoma City is suffering from the heartbreaking loss of their toddler twins, a girl and a boy, who drowned in their family pool in a terrible incident. Their great-grandmother, who was suffering from Alzheimer’s, unintentionally left a rear door open, which resulted in the tragic accident.
Jenny Callazzo, a 37-year-old boutique owner and stay-at-home mother, discovered her 18-month-old twins, Locklyn and Loreli, asleep at the bottom of the swimming pool on a Thursday morning. It was a heartbreaking discovery. According to the Daily Mail, the toddlers were declared dead two hours after initial attempts.
With her six children, grandmother, and 42-year-old husband Sonny, a marketing executive, Jenny lives in a $565,000 house. The unfortunate incident occurred as a result of the great-grandmother’s carelessness in leaving the back door open, as a relative told the Daily Mail.
