At the same job interview, a brunette, a redhead, and a blonde come up. The interviewer chooses to ask the brunette one final question after she has finished answering all of the paperwork and gone over the questions:
What is the number of Ds in “INDIANA JONES”?
After pausing to consider her answer, the brunette says, “One.” After interviewing the remaining candidates, the interviewer promises to get in touch with her. He sends her on her way.
Next is the redhead. Following a similar procedure, the final question is, “How many D’s are there in INDIANA JONES?” She says “One” right away. The interviewer responds, “All right, we’ll notify you.”
After answering a series of questions, the blonde enters the room and is eventually asked, “How many D’s are there in INDIANA JONES?”
With an intense expression, she begins to count her fingers while murmuring, “2, 4, 6, huh, wait, hmm. 2, 4, 6,… might I kindly borrow your calculator?
She musters up to fifteen minutes of serious calculation before determining the answer: thirty two.
She is asked, “Okay, now tell me, how the hell did you arrive at this answer?” by the interviewer, who is amazed.
“Simple… Da, da, da, da, da, daaaa… Daaaa da daaa daa da daaaa daa da daaaa daa… Now that you remember it, sing along.
