While shooting the romantic comedy Gigli in 2003, the couple got together for the first time. Almost two decades ago, when they initially became engaged, they decided against getting married because of the intense media attention the following year.
They rekindled their romance after their 2004 breakup and got married in a surprise Las Vegas wedding in 2022. Affleck had originally purchased the Georgia estate when they first started dating, almost 20 years ago, and a month later, they threw a celebration for family and friends there.

The pair wasn’t sighted together for about two months, thus in May 2022, reports of their breakup began to circulate. Lopez and Affleck remained silent about the rumors of their purportedly “broken” relationship at the time.

After it was revealed that Lopez and Affleck were divorcing, Lopez’s former teammate, former MLB star Alex Rodriguez, posted a mysterious remark to Instagram Stories on Tuesday. Many speculated that Rodriguez was the target of the post.
He wrote, “You might as well be the one deciding the direction—you either go one way or the other.”
A source told People that Rodriquez’s post “has nothing to do” with Lopez and was just coincidence.
For four years, Lopez and Rodriguez were in a relationship.
“We’ve come to the conclusion that friendship is better for us and we intend to stay that way. They declared jointly at the moment, “We will keep collaborating and helping one another on our joint ventures and endeavors.
