When his wife turned forty, a man asked her what she wanted. “I wish I could be six again,” she answered. He got her up early on her birthday and they headed to a nearby amusement park. What a day it has been!
He took her on all of the park’s rides, including the Wall of Horror, the Scream Loop, and the Death Slide! Whoa! After five hours, feeling lightheaded and nauseous, he hobbled out of the theme park.
When she and her husband got home at last, she dropped onto the bed. With a loving question, her spouse leaned over and inquired, “So, honey, what was it like to be six years old again?”
With a weary expression, the woman responded, “You fool, I meant my dress size.” The story’s lesson is that a man will still misunderstand a woman even if he is paying attention.
