Due to the bloodiest battle of the American Civil War, which claimed thousands of lives, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, is said to be haunted. Additionally, President Abraham Lincoln gave his renowned Gettysburg Address there.
Gettysburg is said to be haunted and has been for more than 150 years. General Robert E. Lee of the Confederacy launched his last assault of the North during this fight, but Union forces drove him back.
Recently, Greg Yuelling of New Jersey asserted that he had witnessed a ghost sighting on September 2, 2022, at the battleground, which is now a national park.
In his November 19, 1863, Gettysburg Address, Abraham Lincoln honored the battlefield by saying:
“Our forebears founded a new nation on this continent four hundred and seven years ago, based on the idea that all men are created equal. The world won’t take notice of what we say or remember for very long, but what they did here will always be remembered. hope there will be a new birth of freedom for this nation under God.
More ghost sightings, similar to the one from Gettysburg, are being recorded by modern technology.
