The 74-year-old comedian and former host of “The Tonight Show,” Jay Leno, is getting ready to step down from the spotlight. Leno, who is well-known for his love of automobiles, is arranging his final arrangements, which include giving a sizeable donation to a vehicle museum.
Following his stint on television, Leno launched the web series “Jay Leno’s Garage” (2015–2022), which helped him amass over 3.7 million YouTube subscribers by showcasing his passion for automobiles. But late in 2022, he had health issues. First, he had several injuries from a motorcycle accident, and then he had terrible burns from a garage fire.
Leno is still dedicated to his wife Mavis, who is currently suffering from dementia, in spite of these difficulties. Leno was given guardianship over her fortune by a Los Angeles judge because of her “declining health and diminished mental capacity.” She is rapidly losing consciousness, according to her neurologist, but Leno is still providing for her with “unwavering devotion.”
In addition, Leno is getting ready to pass away and intends to use his charity organization, the JDM Foundation, to donate his $52 million automobile collection to a museum. Seven million dollars will also go to his nephew, Mavis’s brother.
