The younger generation believes that my parents were

As per the younger generation, it seems that our parents mistreated us when we were little.

We were afraid about getting into problems. They forced us to work around the house, attend church, and attend school. imposed a curfew, gave us a whooping when we misbehaved, and even made us fetch the switch they used on us.

We were supposed to eat the food that was placed on the table. We were supposed to wear the clothing that were placed on our backs. They anticipated donning them. They advised us to work for the things we desired by getting a job.

They demanded that we work hard in our studies and at work, and that we should be proud of the work we did. We had strong morals, a strong work ethic, and reverence for the law and our elders growing up. I give thanks to God every day for my parents!
